The Spectators Guide to the 2022 RBC Heritage

Are you as excited as we are for this year’s RBC Heritage?

After two years of dealing with restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic — which resulted in no spectators being allowed at the event in 2020 and limited tickets being sold for 2021 — Hilton Head Island’s favorite golf tournament is back to full capacity this year!

The 54th annual RBC Heritage presented by Boeing will take place April 11-17, 2022, on Harbour Town Golf Links in Sea Pines Resort.

Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s Hilton Head PGA Tour stop:

The schedule

Spectators allowed in starting on Day 2: Tuesday, April 12

The course opens up to spectators on Day 2 of the RBC Heritage Classic: Tuesday, April 12.

Though this marks Day 2 of the event and Day 1 of spectators being allowed in, Tuesday is a day of practice rounds for the pros. Watch the professionals play at their own discretion after the parade and Opening Ceremonies. Want to take your own photos? Cameras are allowed on Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY (lens must be smaller than 6”). No cameras allowed during competition play.

Children 15 and under are invited to putt alongside the pros on this day for the Coca-Cola Youth Day Putting Contest, held on the Putting Green from 2-3 p.m.

Day 3: Pro-Am from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13

Days 4&5: The first and second rounds of the tournament.

Each day starts at the 1st and 10th tees.

Day 6: Plaid Nation Day — Wear Your Plaid with Pride!

Saturday marks the third round of the golf tournament — and the annual Plaid Nation Games will be held on the Heritage Lawn from 12-2 p.m. Make sure to wear your plaid!

Day 7: Easter Service & the Final Round

Join local ministers for a nondenominational prayer at a Sunrise Easter Service on the 18th green at 7:30 a.m.

Then watch the Final Round of the tournament!

Trophy presentation will take place on the 18th green immediately following the close of play.
