Delicious Sea Pines Options
Sea Pines residents and visitors won’t have to venture far for their Thanksgiving meal. Restaurants in The Sea Pines Resorts are offering special dining options — from to-go meals enjoyed at home to a meal at Linx, an American Grill.

Heat-and-serve grocery store options
A few of the main grocery stores in the area are offering full, pre-cooked Thanksgiving meals for pickup.
For Hilton Head Shoppers
Kroger offers a variety of precooked-heat- and-serve Thanksgiving meals. There are two Kroger grocery stores in Bluffton (the new store off of Buckwalter and the other in Belfair Towne Village) and one on Hilton Head (Shelter Cove), so you can order your full meal for pickup at whichever location is most convenient.
All orders must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance and can be ordered online at kroger.com/fresh. Your options include a bone-in smoked turkey meal that serves 6-8 people for $70, which includes a 10-12 pound smoked turkey with optional sides that include green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potato souffle, turkey gravy, rolls, cornbread stuffing, a pumpkin pie and more.
Or you can downgrade the turkey poundage with the same side options for $55. Not a turkey fan? No problem. Choose a ham dinner for $70-80 instead — with your choice between a 7 to 9-pound standard ham or premium Boar’s Head ham. Your choice of the above sides are included.
If you want to cook a little — just not the entire meal — Kroger also offers yummy a la carte protein and side options. You can order a precooked ham or turkey (in various sizes) or just a side. A La Carte items are listed below the main meals in the Holiday Meal Bundles.
If Kroger is not your jam, then check out Publix’s offerings. With a Publix store about every 5 miles, conveniences is a definite plus. Publix offers two main, fully cooked, heat-and-serve Thanksgiving meals. Your order must be placed at least 48 hours in advance — and you can order online at publix.com.
A large turkey dinner for $89 serves 14-18 people includes a 16-19 pound Butterball fully-cooked turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, marshmallow delight and cranberry orange relish. Smaller versions serving 7-10 people are available for $49-59. Publix also offers a Boar’s Head ham dinner for $54 serving 7-10 people includes sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and marshmallow delight.
Like Kroger, Publix has a la carte options — whether you add them to an order of one of the above meals or add them to whatever you want to cook yourself.
Other Grocery Store Options
Harris Teeter shoppers, you’re in luck! Both Hilton Head Harris Teeter locations offer holiday meals for pickup. Orders must be placed a minimum of 24 hours in advance, and you can order online at harristeeter.com.
Options include a turkey, ham or prime rib dinners serving 8-10 people for $49. Side options include turkey gravy, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole and cornbread dressing. Harris Teeter also offers all of their 2-pound tray sides, relishes, gravy and fully cooked turkeys and hams as a la carte options.
Do you prefer the organic vibe from Whole Foods Market? Have no fear. They offer pre-cooked Thanksgiving meals for pick-up — including vegan options! All holiday meal orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance, and Thanksgiving meals can be picked up between Nov. 19-26. You can order your meal online at holiday.wholefoodsmarket.com. With some meal options showing up as sold out at the beginning of November, order your meal ASAP.
Options include a Festive Feast that serves 12 people for $279, featuring a classic roast whole turkey, spiral-sliced ham, green beans with roasted shallots, creamed spinach and kale, roasted butternut squash with cranberries and sage, creamy mashed potatoes, traditional herb stuffing, turkey gravy, spiced brown sugar ham glaze, cranberry orange sauce, brioche rolls, apple pie and pumpkin pie.
For dinner parties less than four people, Whole Foods offers a paleo-friendly turkey dinner for $89, which includes salt-and-pepper roasted turkey breast, olive oil smashed cauliflower, mushrooms with spinach and bacon, roasted harvest vegetables, beef bone gravy and home style apple sauce.
More traditional? No problem! Their classic roast whole turkey dinner serves 8 people for $129 includes: classic roast turkey, green beans with roasted shallots, creamy mashed potatoes, traditional herb stuffing, turkey gravy and cranberry orange sauce. A larger version is available for $179 that serves 12 people and a spiral-sliced ham dinner for 8 people with all of the same fixin’s are available for $139.
Vegans, you’ll love Whole Foods’ Chef Chloe Coscarelli’s Vegan Meal that serves 2 for $39. This includes Cremini mushroom roast, miso creamed greens, coconut sweet potato casserole, jalapeno cornbread dressing, mushroom gravy and pumpkin curry soup.
Entrees, sides, appetizers and desserts can also be ordered separately online. In the holiday section, available entrees for the Hilton Head store include: classic roast turkey, organic classic roast turkey, salt and pepper prime rib roast, crab cakes, and lemon-herb roasted salmon. A ton of classic, paleo and vegan side options are also available.
Chef-prepared meals from your favorite local restaurants
Not many people can afford a personal chef for the holidays. So, try the next best thing and order your holiday meal from your favorite local restaurant.
Signe’s Heaven Bound Bakery & Cafe

Signe Gardo’s bakery and cafe, 93 Arrow Road, has been a Hilton Head icon for more than 40 years! She offers full,Thanksgiving meals for pick-up. Dinners must be ordered by Nov. 20 at the latest — and all meals must be picked up by 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
A limited supply of whole, herb-roasted turkey dinners are available with Signe’s stuffing, gravy, cranberry compote and a dozen mixed rolls is available for $145. Or order Signe’s family-style sides, such as she crab soup, oven-roasted turkey, rich turkey gravy, Signe’s stuffing, two stuffed spuds, green beans and oven-roasted carrots, balsamic beets, candied sweet potatoes, half a dozen rolls, cranberry compote, four pieces of pie and cookie treats. Her dinners and some sides are already selling out, so order soon.

Not feeling turkey this year? They’re also offering the same meal with a whole, slow roasted prime rib instead of a turkey for $245.

One Hot Mama’s fully cooked Thanksgiving meals can be picked up at either location from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Place your order quickly, though, because they’re known to sell out early each year.

A traditional turkey dinner serving 10 people for $149 includes choice of fried or hickory smoked turkey, pan gravy, cornbread and sausage stuffing, buttered mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry mandarin relish and Martin’s potato rolls.

Package 1 serves 6-8 people that ranges from $120-175, depending on the number of sides your want. Package 2 serves 2-4 people for $130. This meal option includes: a Cajun fried or traditional roast turkey, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce and these side options: mashed potatoes and gravy, candied yams, mac & cheese, green beans, jambalaya, pan of cornbread, cream corn, collard greens, broccoli & raisin salad, gumbo, she crab soup, apple pie or pumpkin pie.

Orders must be placed by noon on Wednesday, Nov. 25. You select how much food you want and what time you want to pick up your order on Thanksgiving Day. All meals will be ready for you to serve and eat. You can order here. Meals are priced per person and served in carryout containers with individual meals.
Meals are $35 per adult and $15 per child and includes roasted turkey, rosemary gravy, sliced honey glazed ham, classic mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole, candied yams, warm bread and butter and pumpkin pie.
Skillets Cafe & Grill

Skillets is offering individual meals as a dine-in (or on the patio) or take-out option on Thanksgiving Day. Reservations and take-out orders must be placed by Tuesday, Nov. 24. The meal is $25 per adult and $12 per child. This incudes carved roasted turkey breast or baked ham; traditional or cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes or mashed sweet potatoes, yeast roll or cornbread.
