Things to Do This Spring on HIlton Head IslandYes, Spring is the “unofficial” start of festival and tourist season in the Lowcountry.
But the thing locals really love? Even though RBC Heritage brings arguably the largest crowds of the year to the island, those crowds only last a week. The rest of the season tends to be much less crowded than the summer months — and since summer is technically our rainy season, the weather can be a bit better, too!

After two years of dealing with restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic — which resulted in no spectators being allowed at the event in 2020 and limited tickets being sold for 2021 — Hilton Head Island’s favorite golf tournament is back to full capacity this year!
